About the Division
FFS Tank Terminals is an independent bulk liquid storage facility located in Cape Town, Richards Bay and Durban Harbour.
Our terminals receive and despatch products via vessels and road tankers. Vessels are received at common user berths which are operated by Transnet National Port Authority (TNPA).

Strategic Storage Infrastructure
FFS Tank Terminals is permitted to store high flash products (flash point must be greater than 60.5ᵒC).
The storage facility is permitted to store the following:
- Molasses
- Vegetable & Edible Oils
- Palm Oils & their Fractions
- Animal Fats
- Glycols
- Residual Fuel Oils
- Glycerine
- Caustic Soda
- Bitumen and Base Oils
Durban
- Total Capacity of 65 200 m3
- 16 Tanks Ranging from 300 m3 to 10 400 m3
- 2 Import Pipelines
- Berth 8: 10m Max Draft, 200m Vessel Length
- Berth 9: 9.3m Max Draft, 200m Vessel Length
- Maydon Wharf Berths (60 000dwt)

Tank Terminals is an independent operator specialising in bulk liquid storage, delivering bulk liquid storage solutions for industrial clients through strategically located facilities at major South African ports.
The division provides bulk liquid storage, product receiving and dispatch via vessels and road tankers via inland terminals and port facilities leased from Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA).
It provides secure and efficient bulk liquid storage and transportation solutions for both in-house operations and third-party industrial clients, including those involved in import and export via marine vessels. Our sites conveniently located at the Port’s in Durban; Cape Town & Richards Bay provide liquid bulk storage solutions.
