Hyrdocarbon Waste Recovery Services

We offer land based and marine based services

LAND BASED SERVICES

USED LUBE OIL COLLECTIONS

FFS collects and receives Used Lubricating Oils, Ship Slops and other waste oils for processing at our production facilities across South Africa. We provide a collection service directly to industry using our own fleet of especially designed road tankers and we purchase used lubricating oil from a multitude of collectors who deliver product to our collection points.

The collected used lubricating oil is recycled into various products in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.

FFS is a founding member of NORA-SA (National Oil Recyclers Association of South Africa), an industry body that promotes the responsible and ethical collection of used lubricating oils in South Africa.

BY-PRODUCT & OILY SLUDGE COLLECTIONS

By-products and off-specification liquid hydrocarbon generated by refining and other industries are purchased by FFS for further processing into fuel oils. Our large storage capacity and flexible fleet of road tankers enable FFS to manage distress situations.

FFS is establishing an oily sludge collection and processing facility in Evander. This process will take high CV waste sludges and convert it to dry solids, suitable for landfill or energy recovery while recovering the oily components as a blendstock for industrial fuels. The development is undergoing trials and expected to go commercial by the end of 2020.

MARINE SERVICES
