FFS Tank Terminals hosts its Debut Safety Day!

FFS Tank Terminals a wholly owned subsidiary of FFS Refiners (Pty) Ltd recently hosted its debut Safety Day at Riverside Hotel. Delegates enjoyed an informative and inspiring afternoon with presentations and demonstrations by personnel from Spilltech & Cast Rope Access.

Those in attendance were divided into groups and participated in various activities which culminated with an obstacle course. This was the first of what is hoped to be an annual feature on the FFS Tank Terminals calendar, as it ensures those within the Health & Safety fraternity come together to network, learn from each other, and keep abreast on all that is happening in this all important sector.

According to the HSSE Manager of FFS Tank Terminals Alyssa Ulassi hosting such events are an integral part of our culture because “By taking ownership of safety and making small individual changes in the way that we think and behave, we will become champions – not only in safety but as part of our pride in being professionals and having a habit of excellence.”
