FFS responds to the oil tanker washed into the Umgeni River.

FFS is aware of the footage that has been circulating on various social media and news media platforms regarding an oil tanker that was washed into the Umgeni River and onto the Durban beachfront during the recent KZN Floods. We confirm that the tanker in question was sold in 2020 and unfortunately the FFS signage was not removed.

The current owners are working on any possible clean-up and retrieval of the salvage.
