Base Oil

HPO300 is produced using technology developed by FFS that includes a unique pre-treatment process to remove impurities from the feedstock after which product is Hydrotreated at high temperatures and pressures over a catalyst bed. This produces a clear and bright high-quality Base Oil with a high Viscosity Index and a low Sulfur content.

HPO300 is used to make various grades of automotive and industrial lubricants, for producing rubber, and paint, and as a carrier for diverse solutions such as insecticides and explosives.

The HPO300 production facility is in Pietermaritzburg in South Africa and is distributed by road tanker to customers across Southern Africa.
